Went here to pick up a few things for my daughters. They have a stupid cow bell that you have to ring to get fabric or string cut and measured for you. I am a believer and a patient person. I rang the bell and few time and waited and waited. My kids rang the bell a couple of times each after we kept waiting and waiting. I then decided to measure and cut the sting we wanted to purchase and took it to the front of the store. I asked a woman at the front for help and she didn’t even look at me. She has her back turned to me while I was speaking and then when I finished telling her I needed help she only says “you can’t do that.” I tried to explain that I rang the bell a bunch of times but she doesn’t respond and talks into her walkie talkie and tells me to go to the back to the counter. I get back there and a man is standing there. Doesn’t even talk to us or speak to us. Just reassures and scans a paper and hands it to me. I never wrote reviews. For now on I’m going to hobby lobby or Amazon. Customer service is a zero,

I LOVE MICHAELS; however, today they were having a problem with leaking roof (I think) with buckets around most of store catching the dripping water. A stinky smell permeated the store. The employees are always very nice. They deserve 5 stars. 😃

This is a great store! This is a very spacious and clean store. It was well stocked and well staffed when I went, and the staff on hand were very friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty decent as well.

This is one of my favorite spots for craft supplies. The employees are always super friendly and willing to help if you’re looking for something or need suggestions. I’ve never had trouble finding what I need—the shelves are usually really well stocked. They also run good sales pretty often, which is great if you’re trying not to spend too much. Overall, it’s just a solid place to shop for creative stuff without any hassle. I was able to get a ton of faux florals at a good price for many design projects in my home.

Customer service was nice. People are always kind at the register. Making returns is easy, too. I kind of wish that you wouldn't have to stand and wait in the regular line to make returns, but it's alright, and usually goes really fast. One time, the lady who was checking out my items gave me a generous discount that I wasn't expecting! The reason I give it four stars is because I wish Michael's employees knew more about the crafts/art supplies they're selling at the store. For someone just starting out, like me, it would be nice to get more help/info/advice on the different kinds of paints, for example, when I say I would like to paint glass, instead of someone just showing me ALL the acrylics, and saying any of these will work. I am left to figure out the difference between five different types/brands/prices of paint by myself. Overall, a great store with great people! (Oh, and you'll find lots of great books for learning how to draw here, if that's something that interests you!) UPDATE: Figured out Michaels has the best deal on canvases! Now, I shop at Michaels for canvases for my paintings, Hobby Lobby for craft supplies, and the Art Box downtown for paints, brushes, and e
